In one of the recent monthly reports, we received from our Staff, it was brought to our attention that one of our recent OA Graduates has achieved a great success: a job.
In his own words, here is the story of Wandimagen’s journey through the OA Program, to securing a job.
This is the story of Wandimagen.
Wandimagen is so thankful for the support given to him throughout the years with OA.
The journey was a blessing to him. He thanks God for allowing him to be in OA.
“If God had not given me this organization, I wouldn’t have attended class in boarding schools with full support and colleges. Being in the organization has created the opportunity to get many good friends, got assisted by professional counselors and above all, I have learned the secret of helping others.
The kindness of the donors helped me to learn this.
I am also thankful for OA staff who served us relentlessly, Stacy for letting me join the program, my kind sponsor (Susan) who took care of me, showed me love, and remains the most important person in my life. Thank you so much. God Bless you.”
Wandimagen was also happy to get a job within a short period of time.
Knowing that he got a job, his family, OA staff, and sponsors were so happy.
“I got the job at the college I have completed my class. The skills and the knowledge I have gained through the years in OA made me qualify for the job. I have developed good communication skills, friendliness and worked hard during my college years.
I have gotten assistance from my late teacher to get this job. He liked me for working above his expectations and recommended me for the job.
One of the greatest things I like about my job is teaching and assisting students with different problems and at times looking for donations for students who can’t pay the school tuition. I like my job. I also like the friendship I have created at the new office.”
